The NYMU Innovation and Incubator Center was therefore at the same time awarded 500,000 NTD by the Industrial Technology Research Institute for the unit's coaching. “WeMED Bio-Tech," which qualified for the third category received a $20,000 grant.

"Bened Biomedical" was founded in 2015 by Professor Tsai, a former Professor of the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and “WeMED Bio-Tech” was founded in 2015 by Professor Zhu from the Department of BioMedical Engineering.
